Planet Funk feat. Giuliano Sangiorgi

To create this “perfect world” we filmed the Sumagashi technique, an antique Japanese practice which allows for the creation of delicate and unique shapes on a flat water surface using ink and a fine calligraphy brush. The project is a very successful synthesis of traditional art and computer graphics, sending us on a voyage through fantastical interlocked worlds. The images in the ink clouds melt into each other, forming ever newer shapes and opening doors into parallel universes with their constant transformation.
